Welcome to CODA

Survivors tell us...

"If there were no CODA, I don't kow if I'd even be alive to write this. I was fortunate to find a wonderfully caring counselor. She became my co-pilot and never let me stop believing in myself."

"Without CODA, I would have been lost."

"If it had not been for CODA, I would still be with my abuser, with low self-esteem, wasting my life away."

"I feel really safe here. I love to eat and the food is really good! When we go outside on the playground we have the most fun ever! I love CODA!"

"Through the support my daughter and I were shown, I have been able to overcome the fear of making a life for us on my own.  The support group and counselors made me realize that even though it will be a long, difficult road, I will manage to make my way."

"CODA is a very peaceful place. I felt like I haven't been safe in a very long time."

At CODA, victims of domestic violence and their children access services, including emergency shelter, which help them assess their situations and determine the best way to move on to violence-free lives. All CODA services are confidential and free of charge.

Warning:

It is not possible to delete all "footprints" of your on-line activity. An abuser can easily monitor your internet visits. To be safe, use public computers such as those at libraries or a friend's computer. If you think your activities are being monitored, they probably are!
